The 2016 Licence to Ride Manual.

The 6th edition of the Licence to Ride Manual , packed with ride stories from across New Zealand and overseas, it is an essential guide for those who like to get out and explore on two wheels.

Editor Stu Waddel says, "We’re super proud of this edition, incorporating some epic stories from keen riders who love time in the saddle. Alongside the stories we've included maps and trail guide information".

Some of the highlights include a Week of Giants traveling and riding in Rotorua, Whakatane and Opotiki.  Riding the Timber Trail and exploring the Ruapehu region.  There are lots of stories around the greater Wellington region, including a moonlight ride around Pencarrow Head.

The Marlborough Sounds includes Queen Charlotte Track and we ride into Golden Bay, then the West Coast with the newly completed Old Ghost Road.  Bike packing takes on a new meaning when we explore the Banks Peninsula, and the excitement of Bike Parks in Canterbury is uncovered.  Getting high in The Southern Alps is a must with heli riding on Crown Peak, Queenstown.  Finally in the overseas section, there is a collection of stories covering Adelaide, Iceland, Tour Divide and riding SW China.

Licence to Ride donates $1 from each sold to Trail Fund NZ. A worthy cause, helping to keep bike wheels rolling.
